“Thankful” Snackers (Oatmeal Raisin Bars)

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup raisins
  • ¼ cup apple jelly
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Remove 1 cup and set aside.
  4. Add in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
  5. Press mixture into an ungreased 11x7 inch-baking pan.
  6. Mix raisins, jelly and extra cup of mix and sprinkle over pan.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool and cut into bars – makes 24 bars.
