Swiss Family Robinson Trees

Ingredients:

• Pretzel rods
• Peanut Butter (optional)
• Leaf lettuce
• Small pretzel sticks
• Red grapes
• Nuts and raisins

Directions:
You may want to create one large “tree” for all to share, or individual trees for each guest. To create one “tree”:

1. Place one large (or 2-3 small) pieces of leaf lettuce on a plate.
2. The pretzel rods are the “trunk” of the tree so place one or two at base of lettuce leaf. To help pretzel rod adhere to the lettuce add peanut butter to the tip of the rod.
3. Place several pretzel sticks throughout the lettuce leaf to resemble branches.
4. Wash and dry grapes.
5. Sprinkle grapes, nuts and raisins in the “branches”.
6. Get creative….add a swing or ladder onto your tree with licorice and graham crackers!
