Pinocchio “Knows”

Supplies:

• Pens
• Paper
• Hat or bowl

Directions:

1. Guests sit in a circle facing inward.
2. On a slip of paper, each guest writes their name and 3 things about themselves – 2 of which are true and one that is false.*
3. Once all guests have completed their “fact” sheets, fold over and put them all into the hat.
4. One player is selected to be Geppeto and sits in the center of the circle.
5. He draws one slip of paper out of the hat and calls out the name at the top.
6. That person is Pinocchio and sits in the center of the circle with “Gepetto”
7. Gepetto (or an adult helper) reads all 3 facts and tries to guess which one is false.
8. Pinocchio has to try to keep a straight face…and make sure his nose doesn’t grow!

* This game can be modified for younger children using colors. All kids choose 3 colors (one of which is their favorite) and then color all 3 colors on a slip of paper. Gepetto tries to guess which is Pinocchio’s favorite.
