Mickey’s Match-Up Mixer
Supplies:
- Black construction paper
- Hole punch
- Art supplies: ribbon, stickers, feathers, beads/gems, etc.
Directions:
Before the party:
- Using household item, create a “Mickey” shape and use as a pattern to create several more.
- Decorate the Mickeys in pairs so that there are 2 that match. (e.g., use star sticker on one ear, create eyes and a smile using a hole punch, make a tie with ribbon, etc.)
During the party:
- Have guests sit in a circle and choose one person to be “it”.
- The person in the middle of the circle is Mickey and must close her eyes while one paper Mickey is passed out to each guest.
- The guests can put the paper Mickey in front of them face down or hold it so that the person in the center cannot see what each one looks like.
- To start the game, Mickey calls on one person to turn over her paper Mickey. Then the guesser tries to find its match. If it is not a match, both mickeys are turned back over and play resumes. If it is a match, the Mickey chooses someone else to be “it” and takes his place in the circle.
- To start a new game simply mix up the paper mickeys and distribute again!
