Haunted Mansion Mayhem (Game)

Supplies:

• 1 broomstick
• paper and pen

Directions:

1. Write a number (one representing each player) on separate strips of paper.
2. Gather all players into a circle facing inward and randomly assign each player a number sheet – which is to be kept secret.
3. Select one player to be the “Ghost Host” in the center of the circle.
4. The Ghost Host holds the broomstick at the end using just one finger to balance it.
5. All players move around the circle and everyone says: “Haunted Mansion, Haunted Mansion Ghosts come out to play! “Haunted Mansion, Haunted Mansion…”
6. …then the Ghost Host chooses a number shouts “send out #5 today!” and drops the broomstick
7. The player who is #5 must run to the center of the circle and catch the broomstick before it hits the floor. If he makes it in time, he becomes the ghost host. If the broomstick hits the floor, the original host takes another turn!
8. Play continues until everyone ghost has been summoned from the mansion!
