Grilled Cheese Kebobs
Ingredients:
- 1-2 baguettes
- butter or margarine
- 1 8-oz pkg. mild cheddar cheese
- 1 pkg cherry tomatoes
- wooden skewers
- tomato soup (optional)
Directions:
- Slice bread on a diagonal approx. 1-inch thick.
- Slice cheese and create several mini sandwiches.
- Spread butter or margarine on each side of bread and place in non-stick pan over medium heat until cheese has melted and both sides are evenly browned.
- Allow sandwiches to cool for 1-2 minutes. Cut sandwiches once lengthwise and then into thirds creating bite size pieces.
- Thread mini-bites onto wooden skewers alternating with cherry tomatoes.
- Serve with mini-bowls of tomato soup for dipping.
