Grilled Cheese Kebobs

Ingredients:
  • 1-2 baguettes
  • butter or margarine
  • 1 8-oz pkg. mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg cherry tomatoes
  • wooden skewers
  • tomato soup (optional)
Directions:
  1. Slice bread on a diagonal approx. 1-inch thick.
  2. Slice cheese and create several mini sandwiches.
  3. Spread butter or margarine on each side of bread and place in non-stick pan over medium heat until cheese has melted and both sides are evenly browned.
  4. Allow sandwiches to cool for 1-2 minutes. Cut sandwiches once lengthwise and then into thirds creating bite size pieces.
  5. Thread mini-bites onto wooden skewers alternating with cherry tomatoes.
  6. Serve with mini-bowls of tomato soup for dipping.
