Egg Carton Spiders (Craft)
Supplies:
- Kid-safe black paint
- Paint brushes
- 1-2 cardboard egg cartons
- scissors
- small screwdriver
- Black pipe cleaners
- Wire cutters
- Wiggle eyes
- Glue
Directions:
In advance…
1. Cut the egg carton into individual sections.
2. Use the screwdriver to create eight small holes (4 on each side) in bottom edge of each section.
3. Cut pipe cleaners in half.
During the party…
4. Paint the egg carton sections black and allow to dry. (This is the body of the spider.)
5. Push the pipe cleaners through one hole and out the other and repeat for each hole. Bend down each leg.
6. Glue on wiggle eyes.
